ADVOCACY

The Strategic Alliance advocates for an inclusive economy for all San Diegans. The majority of jobs in our region come from small businesses, yet minority business enterprises (MBEs) face greater obstacles to growth and sustainability, such as cultural and language barriers, historic race and ethnicity policy decisions and location traits. These issues place minority enterprises and communities of color in persistent economic and competitive disadvantage. The Strategic Alliance focuses its strategies with one voice, representing the combined largest ethnic minority populations.
